Streaker 5.45 Sirocco

Melbourne-based boat manufacturer Streaker Boats has pulled back the covers on its first bow rider model.

The Streaker 5.45 Sirocco Bow Rider features swivel bucket seats, a removable rear lounge and can accommodate up to four adults.

Back-to-back seats are also available. A targa canopy, Lowrance sounder, GME marine radio, CD stereo, navigation lights, bilge pump, full cockpit carpeting, glove compartment, stainless steel equipment (ski pole, boarding ladder etc), sub floor fuel tank are all standard on the 5.45 Sirocco Bow Rider.

The standard Streaker 5.45 Sirocco Bow Rider is powered by a Yamaha 150hp V-6 outboard engine and is sold as a turn-key package.

Haines Hunter 495

Haines Hunter launched the latest addition to its range – the 495 Breeze – at the recent Melbourne Boat Show.

Designed to fit mid-way between the existing 470 and 510 models, the 495 is ideal for first-time boat buyers.

With a new deck design and a raised cabin roof, this 16-foot cuddy cabin features under-bunk storage, ample side shelves, a wide cabin doorway for easy entry, a fully-moulded bowsprit and wide forward hatch for bow access when anchoring.

The transom has also been redesigned to create a small engine well with additional space utilised for livebait tanks and food/drink coolers and removable aft quarter seats.

The new interior includes extra large twin side pockets, rod holder, underfloor storage with room for an optional kill tank and long-range fuel tanks.

The 495 Breeze cuddy cabin is rated to carry 90hp, but performs well when paired with a 60hp.

Prices for a Haines Hunter 495 Breeze with 70hp start at around $27,000.

Jeanneau Prestige 34

From renowned French boat builders, Jeanneau, comes a new luxury motor yacht - the Prestige 34.

Making its Australian debut at the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show earlier this year, the Prestige 34 features two cabins with a capacity of up to six people, a spacious saloon, modern galley, generous storage, a sunbathing area on the deck and a large outdoors area with circular seating.

Extras include a polyester ‘sport top’ version with rigid cockpit protection and a large sliding sunroof.

Performance comes via a semi-planing hull and stability tunnel with z-drive engines located under the cockpit for easy access.

A second model in the line, the Prestige 46 is also available.
