Luhrs 36 Convertible
The Luhrs 36 Convertible is designed as a dual-purpose
sportfishing and cruising power yacht.
It has a LOA of 11.86m and a beam of 4.22m, with
standard power coming via twin Volva D6 370hp diesels and an option
of 2 x 480hp Yanmar diesels.
The cockpit has tackle and storage drawers, a plumbed
livewell, sink, rod holders and fresh and raw water wash-down outlets.
A transom fishbox and gold anodised rocket launchers come standard,
along with a composite hardtop with mounting pads for radar and
antennas.
Inside the saloon is more storage space for rods
and tools and the galley houses a two-burner cooktop, microwave,
coffee maker and refrigerator/freezer. It also boasts Corian countertops
and cherry wood cabinets.
The master stateroom has an innerspring mattress,
with two cedar-lined hanging lockers and three drawers beneath
the berth. The second stateroom features upper and lower berths
that convert into a sofa and includes a hanging locker and rod
storage. The head has a separate stall shower and storage.

Quicksilver 5350 Bowrider Deluxe
Quicksilver has released its multi-purpose family
bowrider – the
5350 Bowrider Deluxe.
With enough space to accommodate six people, standard
features include a sports console and steering wheel, fully carpeted
floor, underfloor floatation, upholstered seats and four rod holders.
Made from lightweight aluminium for easy towing,
the 5350 Bowrider Deluxe can be packaged with either a Mercury or
Mariner 90hp outboard, but is rated up to 115hp.
For owners who like to customise their boat, there
is also a range of upholstery colour combinations and exterior paint
options.
And for those who like to drop a line, the bow lounge
section can be easily removed to become a casting platform.

Streaker 458 Tournament
Melbourne-based Streaker Boats has released a new
side console fibreglass boat – the 458 Tournament.
Based on the 458 Series hull, the 458 Tournament Console offers
anglers “the
added space benefits of a side console layout,” according to
Streaker co-director, Leon Savage.
With a hull length of 4.58m, a beam of 2.11m and
a 17-degree deadrise, it is rated to a maximum of 90hp.
Up front is a raised casting platform with swivel seat and a Minn
Kota electric trolling motor is standard.
Under the casting platform is a fully-plumbed live
bait well and in-built tackle storage.
The console houses a Lowrance sounder, GME 27MHz radio, Yamaha digital
instruments, waterproof switches and glove box plus drink holders.
There is a 2.1-metre lockable rod storage compartment
on the port side, a fibreglass removable bait board mounted on the
transom, stainless steel rod holders and pop-up cleats.

Stacer’s new range
For the first time in six years, Stacer’s range of aluminium
boats has undergone a complete overhaul.
All Stacer models from 4.5m and larger now feature
the EVO Series II hull.
According to Stacer’s National Sales and Marketing Manager,
Damien Duncan, “these models now offer even greater stability,
quicker planing, level flotation capabilities (excluding SVS models)
and a spray deflector to push spray away from the boat at an early
stage.”
The new Stacer Mod Pod models (4.5m and larger)
also boast a new look, with greater boarding area on the duck board.
Other advancements across the range include larger anchor wells,
new ladders, deck lights as standard, splash decks, a new dash
design, bigger fuel tanks, new interior upholstery and more storage
space options.
All 619 and larger models have been redesigned
as plate boats, with thicker 4mm side sheets and 5mm bottom sheets.
At the smaller end of the scale, the open boat range now features
glove boxes and drink holders.
The boats come packaged ‘Ready 2 Go’ with a Mariner
outboard, Stacer trailer, bimini and envelope, registrations and
a 3-year, factory-backed warranty.

Haines Hunter 600R
Haines Hunter unveiled its latest offering at the
recent Melbourne Boat Show.
Based on Haines Hunter’s V19R model, the new 600R is the result
of 12 months of research and development and customer feedback.
While similar to its predecessor, the 600R offers
a softer, drier ride, more cockpit space and sleek, modern lines,
according to Haines Hunter.
Onboard features include a curved glass windscreen, stainless steel
fittings, heavy duty stainless steel bow rails, live bait tank, in-built
rear lounge and a large dash area to accommodate a big choice of
electronics.
Owners have the option of equipping it with either
single or twin engines. A side door is another option.
The 600R is covered by Haines Hunter’s seven-year structural
warranty.

Wellcraft 360 Coastal
Sydney’s Chapman Marine Group has announced
the latest addition to its range – the Wellcraft 360 Coastal.
Powered by a pair of 370hp Volvo Penta engines, the
Coastal features the classic Ray Hunt hull shape and, according to
Chapman Marine Group’s CEO, Mark Chapman, it offers “safe and comfortable
cruising for the family.”
It is priced at $569,000.

Cabo 52 Express
The Cabo 52 Express is designed to cater for the
serious sportsfisherman, while offering all the comforts of home
for family cruising and entertaining friends.
With a LOA of 15.6m and a beam of 5.4m, the Cabo 52 Express
is designed to take twin 1550hp C32 Caterpillar diesels and has
a claimed top speed of 40 knots.
The roomy cockpit features a 200-litre livewell,
insulated fish boxes, bait freezer, prep centre with tackle storage,
padded coamings, outward-opening transom door and ample storage for
rods and gaffs.
The helm deck features plenty of seating and the
helm console is centrally located to provide clear views.
