Club Marine boat tester John Willis catches up with Baxter Bolton from Telwater to check out the new Yellowfin 7000 Southerner fitted with 225HP Evinrude E-tec. John is particularly impressed with the fishing ergonomics and user-friendly features including the dive ladder, walk-through transom, fold-down rod holders, ventilated windows and mount for the electric motor.
Mark Rothfield steps aboard the Palm Beach GT50. This is the sports derivative of Palm Beach capable of traveling at up to 35 knots, burning only 151 litres per-hour, combined. The GT50 is a warped, semi-displacement hull with a very fine bow, soft shoulder, and flat aft section. Entertainers will be impressed with the ice maker, Corian-topped wet bar, drinks cabinet and outdoor fridge. Mark describes it as a sports car outside and luxury saloon inside.
Club Marine tester John Willis is testing the new BRIG Eagle 10 rigid inflatable. The vessel is fitted with twin 300HP V6 Yamahas capable of pushing the Brig to 52 knots. This model features lockable cabin with double bed, full electric toilet, fridge, cooker and a custom T-top by Black Marlin Towers.
