Danger and Bomber present The Last Cast

Club Marine is proud to support AFL big fish Patrick Dangerfield and fishing identity Bomber Farrell as they venture into some of the country’s best fishing waters off the Northern Territory’s Groote Eylandt, in their new TV show, The Last Cast.

Airing on Channel Seven at the start of next year’s AFL footy season in March, 2018, the four-part series will follow the intrepid duo as they explore the island’s largely unfished waters and discover its raw beauty.

With passionate angler Dangerfield an ambassador for South Australian boatbuilder Northbank Boats, their vessel of choice is a brand-new Northbank 650WA Danger Pro Series, kitted out with an arsenal of top-notch fish-finding gear and comprehensively protected by Club Marine Pleasure Craft insurance.

And as a Groote local whose forte is landing sailfish, Bomber can’t wait to take his footy-star mate on the fishing trip of a lifetime, while showing off the archipelago’s lush natural coastlines, abundant wildlife and pristine waters teeming with pelagic and reef fish.

Home of the Andindilyakwa People, Groote Eylandt in the Gulf of Carpentaria is Australia’s fourth largest island and part of an archipelago of 40-odd smaller islands. Stay tuned for more details about Bomber and Dangerfield’s angling antics in The Last Cast. Channel Seven show times and dates will be released shortly.
