Australia’s biggest boating audience still growing!

Club Marine Magazine has again been confirmed as Australia’s highest circulation audited magazine by the Audited Media Association of Australia (AMAA) following the release of its latest figures for the Jan-June, 2017, period.

Club Marine’s Australian circulation was confirmed as 87,487 (91,831 including NZ), making it by far Australia’s highest circulation AMAA audited magazine.

The latest paid circulation figures represent an increase of 2.33% over the July/Dec 2016 audit period, demonstrating strong audience growth, says Club Marine publisher and CEO, Simon McLean.

“The latest AMAA results are confirmation that Club Marine continues to deliver compelling and informative content to its boating readers, who are remaining loyal to the title at a time when print media is under unprecedented pressure,” said McLean.

“It’s a great result for Club Marine, but also represents a great opportunity for the marine industry, which has seen its marketing and advertising options decrease in recent times,” he said.

“Our readers, by definition, are boating enthusiasts spread across all boating types and activities, from jetskis to luxury power cruisers and everything in between,” said McLean. “As a strong participant and supporter of the marine industry, we encourage all marine businesses to speak to us about how we can help them reach the largest and most focused boating audience in Australasia.”

While some media organisations have withdrawn from the AMAA audit, McLean says Club Marine remains committed to the independent audit process.

“We are proud to underline Club Marine’s performance and value by participating in the AMAA audit,” he said.

“It allows advertisers and planners to accurately determine the effectiveness and validity of a campaign by providing an independent and transparent circulation measuring process. And we think that is important.”

McLean added that Club Marine will shortly be relaunching its formerly bi-monthly eDM Club Marine eNews as a monthly communication. With a current circulation of almost 78,000, Club Marine eNews offers a dynamic digital contact point for organisations wishing to communicate with a high-value online audience.

Club Marine Magazine is Australasia’s leading marine lifestyle magazine. It’s a quality bi-monthly title that has been published for more than 30 years by Australia’s leading recreational boat insurer, Club Marine Insurance.

Club Marine eNews will be relaunching in early September.
